This is basically a huge test on fast searching - there are so many categories that (almost) nobody will be familiar with all of them. The author encourages collaboration, but it is possible to advance well by just researching the main topics, and connections between known items.

I reached the four corner clues (I haven’t opened all other words of course) but have little idea what to do with them. I can combine the first two to get something red, but it doesn’t combine well with the other clues. Will probably give up soon and look for some cheats online ;)

Err… I already did. *blushes* I’m a filthy little cheater! lol
After an hour of struggling, I gave up with trying to get the “Poker stars” answers.
The “British bands” part wasn’t that hard to solve after all. :)

No, I meant I will cheat for the final answer. I too did cheat for many of the regular words (but to compensate also worked hard to research unknown fields - did relatively well on both Poker and Baseball). I mean - come on! - Superman < --> Kill Bill. What kind of connection is this? There were lots like this one, which was really frustrating for me when I found out ;) But the author was surely right - no single human can solve this alone :)
Have you got the four corners yet?

Some of the connections are… unexpected indeed (Conan O’Brien Tarja Halonen for instance), yet it is a part of what
makes the game interesting.
